How to apply:


1. Copy the form below. Fill it out completely to the best of your abilities. This is your chance to impress so spend some time on it.

2. E-mail the completed form to: recruitment [ at ] the-bastards.com

3. Ensure that you have the IN-GAME NAME of your character as the subject line of your email. This is very important. We get many applications and this makes it easier for us to track your replies.

4. Do NOT apply in-game at one of our offices. You will be instantly rejected.

5. Do NOT post recruitment details ingame or on any forum.


Requirements:

1. Please note that it is very rare for us to recruit anyone under the age of 18 without a personal recommendation from an existing corp member.

2. Please also note that we have a 10.0 million SP (Skill Point) minimum requirement. If you have less, do not apply.

3. Ventrilo and working microphone required for interviews and fleet ops. No mic, no fleet and Do not apply.

4. No Alts need apply. Only main characters.

5. Experience of working and living in low-security space is desirable.

6. PvP experience is required, the more the better. We are not a training academy.

7. No baggage please.

8. Any character with a silly or offensive name will be regarded as an idiot and treated as such throughout the application.


Further notes:

Successful applicants will be contacted in-game by one of our officers for an informal interview and processing. From meet and greet to fleet-ops to a decision on your application will be completed within a two-week period.

Unsuccessful applications will be contacted immediately via email.

Be aware that there is a probation period of three months placed upon successful new recruits during which time they will be expected to support themselves financially. This period is for us to gauge how well you fit into the corp long term. During this time you will not normally, have access to corp hangers although corp members are allowed to provide you with supplies at their own discretion. You will have full and equal share of all loot and ransoms that you take part in. We also have a cool awards system and kill of the month with 'ships as prizes' as incentives.

If you are on a kill with members of The Bastards and you got the killmail, DO NOT edit the killmail to show your corp as being The Bastards in order to get it to post on our killboard. Instead, send the killmail to a current member so they can post it for you. Representing yourself as a member of The Bastards before you are accepted to the corp will be viewed unfavourably by Bastards Directors & Recruitment Officers responsible for evaluating your application.

Your completed form will be posted by one of our recruitment officers to a private recruitment area. The details are not given out to the public or other members of the corp. It will be visible only to recruiters, directors and the CEO.

Please, DO NOT submit your applications as an email attachment, regardless of file format.

Instead, copy and paste sections 1 and 2 below to your email client and type in your responses.



Notes:

One thing that you should consider when applying to join is that this application is your first chance to impress and convince us to offer you a place in the corp.

If you take the time to reply to the questions fully, it gives us a better idea of what you are really like and it shows that you have taken the time to apply rather than quickly completing the form because you have to do so.
